What OpenShopGraph is — and what it is not

OpenShopGraph is an open directory of structured shop data: identity, trust, coupons, shipping and payment — every field with a source, retrieval timestamp and confidence. Content is licensed under CC-BY-4.0. A product and offer catalog is planned in the schema but not yet populated in production.
Why source-backed
Unlike a review portal, we don't sell leads and we don't just blend star ratings. Every value is traceable; the methodology is open and can be recalculated.
For people and for AI
The same knowledge is available as a directory for people and via REST/MCP for AI assistants. We provide the MCP server, the REST API and the manifests; any MCP-capable client can connect to it. Whether a given product allows that is up to its provider — not us.
